Climber Collages

I have a fear of falling, so naturally, rock climbing terrifies me. But people who face this absurd task fascinate me, one because it seems impossible and two because they are completely obsessed with this adrenaline rush lifestyle. I have traveled with groups of climbers throughout Europe to some of the most coveted crags and documented this struggle and achievement of trying repeatedly to reach the top. 

The final images are digital composites of the attempts and failures of the adrenaline junkies. Each piece is made up of 15-20 photographs meticulously cut and masked to fit together to create its own small world.
